The proclamation of the International Day of Older Persons has become another occasion for the younger generation to pay attention to and show concern for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the elderly people, to pay tribute to their heroic feats and labor achievements, which laid the foundation for the economic development and prosperity of the Independent and Neutral Turkmenistan.

The people of the older generation are an example for young people in showing patriotism and love for their Homeland, the ability to keep up faith and optimism even in the most difficult conditions.
